Basic Retouching & What is included

                                                                          WHAT IS BASIC SKIN RETOUCHING?
Basic skin retouching is included on 5 images upon request.  This includes removing a minor skin blemish, scratch, small bruise (or scar if requested).  These are simple things that I can remove within a few seconds.  I don't always know if I am looking at a mole or a scratch, so please tell me specifically what isn't normally there that you would like removed or made less apparent.  Otherwise, I will leave it there.

WHAT TYPE OF RETOUCHING OR EDITING INCURS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE?
Any other type of retouching or editing will incur a charge of $10 per image. Many of the items listed here are very time consuming to retouch or edit.  This includes the following items:
1. removal of facial acne or acne scars
2. any changes made to hair; such as stray hairs blowing across the face or in the air, altering hair color, etc.
3. removal of hair ties or rubber bands on wrists; removal of temporary tattoos; removal of any type of jewelry or item
4. removal of bruises that overlap a facial feature such as an eye
5. removal of nose crust that overlaps the edges of the nostrils
6. removal of logo/stains on shirts, or changes to color of clothing
7. removal of natural items in the background environment, such as sticks on the ground

Head swapping or composite images will incur a charge of $60 per hour.

A NOTE ABOUT WHY RETOUCHING CAN BE EXTENSIVE OR NOT POSSIBLE
Please note that I do not offer face or body reshaping.  Please select clothing that will be most flattering on you.

If I remove something, whatever it is overlapping cannot appear behind it in photography.  Therefore, I have to invent what is missing after I make a change.  If I alter a person's face, body, hair, etc. and it overlaps another person's face, body, hair, or the background elements, the photograph doesn't know what is behind it. For example, if your hair is blocking someone else's eye, if I remove your hair, I can't make that person's eye appear underneath it in a photograph. My goal is to create a realistic looking image. I will let you know if something can be done on a case by case basis.
