my favorite things
I was an art teacher for seven years and then truly enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom. Now that my little ones are no longer babies, I feel blessed to have the time to share my photography with my amazing clients. Having my children has been the best gift, so working with newborns in my studio has been a joy. Newborn photography requires patience and gentle posing. I hope to make your experience relaxing and memorable. In addition to studio sessions, I am often outdoors taking lifestyle portraits of families. When I'm not making people laugh in front of my camera, I am probably oil painting, drawing, or singing and playing piano. Much of my artwork has been inspired by my travels throughout Europe, especially Italy. I also enjoy running, yoga, and weight-lifting.
Every day I make art, I feel fulfilled
Hello there! I'm Becky, an Ellicott City native, wife, and mother of three energetic children who sometimes let me photograph them, if I offer them ice cream. I've been an artist my entire life which led me to my Bachelor of Science in Art Education from Towson University and a Master of Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art.

moments of love
Giggles and qualities that make little ones uniquely themselves
I used a tripod and remote shutter release for my family of five portraits. My kids didn't all smile at the same time in this first image, but I do love the fact that I have a red head, brunette, and a blond. That's pretty unique.
"Working with Becky for my daughter's newborn photos was an easy and excellent decision. Her COVID policies and precautions were the best that I have seen and the session could not have run smoother. The photos were beautiful and I cannot wait to have Becky photograph the rest of my family!
