my favorite things
I was an art teacher for seven years and then truly enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom. Having my children has been the best gift because babies are a blessing. Working with newborns in my studio has been a joy. Newborn photography requires patience and gentle posing. I hope to make your experience relaxing and memorable. In addition to studio sessions, I am often outdoors taking lifestyle portraits of families. When I'm not making people laugh in front of my camera, I am probably oil painting, drawing, or singing and playing piano. Much of my artwork has been inspired by my travels throughout Europe, especially Italy. I also enjoy running, yoga, and weight-lifting.
Every day I make art, I feel fulfilled
Hello there! I'm Becky, an Ellicott City native, wife, and mother of three energetic children who sometimes let me photograph them, if I offer them ice cream. I've been an artist my entire life which led me to my Bachelor of Science in Art Education from Towson University and a Master of Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art.

moments of love
Giggles and qualities that make little ones uniquely themselves
I used a tripod and remote shutter release for my family of five portraits. My kids didn't all smile at the same time in this first image, but I do love the fact that I have a red head, brunette, and a blond. That's pretty unique.
"Working with Becky for my daughter's newborn photos was an easy and excellent decision. Her COVID policies and precautions were the best that I have seen and the session could not have run smoother. The photos were beautiful and I cannot wait to have Becky photograph the rest of my family!
