Gelila has arrived! She was wide awake during much of her session, but she did take a few little naps here and there, giving us a nice combination of sleepy and wide-eyed photos. Even when she was awake, she remained quietly content, just looking around. It was so sweet seeing her big sister give her a hug and a kiss. I know newborns love having close contact with their parents, but they also enjoy a nice snuggle with siblings. Especially when held close by gentle hands. Parents, you might know what I’m talking about. Have you ever seen a big sibling get so overzealous with love that they might squeeze baby too hard? Thankfully, that wasn’t the case here. It is evident in Gelila’s pleasant facial expression that she is feeling just fine. 🙂
